Meridian Behavioral Health
Las Vegas, NV Full Time|Part Time
POSTED ON 8/1/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/29/2026

Licensed Trauma Therapist — Independent Contractor (1099)

Meridian Behavioral Health is seeking a fully licensed mental health therapist to join our growing outpatient practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our practice specializes in treating trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Meridian also offers in-house psychiatric services, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Our growing multidisciplinary team allows therapists and psychiatric providers to coordinate care when clinically appropriate, authorized by the patient, and consistent with professional and privacy requirements.

We are seeking therapists with specialized training and demonstrated experience in trauma-focused treatment, particularly:

  • EMDR
  • Brainspotting
  • Internal Family Systems
  • Somatic and body-based trauma therapies
  • Attachment-focused approaches
  • Nervous-system regulation and stabilization
  • Other evidence-based trauma modalities

Our practice primarily treats trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, anxiety, and panic disorder. Applicants should be comfortable assessing readiness for trauma processing, providing stabilization when needed, and integrating trauma-focused interventions within an individualized treatment plan.

Formal certification is preferred, but clinicians who have completed recognized training and can demonstrate competency are encouraged to apply.

Strong Patient Demand

Meridian Behavioral Health is a growing outpatient practice that receives more than 200 patient calls per month, along with approximately 60–100 website inquiries per month across our therapy and psychiatric services.

This creates meaningful opportunities for clinicians to build a consistent caseload. Individual referrals depend on clinical fit, specialty, insurance participation, provider availability, patient preference, and scheduling needs. Referral volume, caseload size, and annual income are not guaranteed.

Putting it after the introduction makes the posting feel stronger without making the compensation section sound like a promise.

Compensation

Estimated annual compensation: $50,000–$99,000

Compensation is based on a percentage of payments actually collected for completed clinical services. Actual earnings depend on caseload, payer mix, attendance, reimbursement rates, and the number and type of services provided.

Contractor compensation may increase as collection and completed-session thresholds are reached, with potential earnings of up to 70% of collected revenue.
