Job Summary

Delivers production packaging supplies and materials by pulling pallets of materials from the warehouse and delivering them to production lines.

Duties & Responsibilities

Primary job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Delivers materials and supplies to each work station. Keeps track of required quantities and stays ahead of those requirements.
  • Removes finished goods completed from each work station and verifies correctness of quantities and lot numbers.
  • Delivers finished goods to the shipping department.
  • Empties trash dumpsters and removes empty drums/containers from production area.
  • Keeps work areas orderly.
  • Removes packaging supplies and material from work stations at completion of each order and returns to the warehouse.
  • Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to calculate basic math with the aid of a calculator.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills

Candidate should be proficient in the following:

Valid driver’s license

Forklift Experience

One year shipping/receiving/warehouse experience

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Information & Compensation & Benefits

Schedule: 1st Shift 5:00 am-3:30 pm M-

Pay: This position has a starting hourly rate of $18.00 per hour. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location

Bonus Pay: Meridian is actively participating in a productivity incentive plan for 2026. Eligible employees have the opportunity to earn up to $1,520 a year, with payments distributed quarterly throughout the year.
