Step into a day on our reliability team

As the go-to mechanic for our adhesives manufacturing operation, you’ll keep production humming by diagnosing issues fast and performing hands-on repairs across process equipment, plant utilities, and facility systems. You’ll arrive ready to tackle anything from a noisy gearbox on a mixer to a pneumatic valve that won’t cycle—always with safety and uptime in mind.

What you’ll do

  • Own preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for production lines and facility assets.
  • Rapidly troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, mixers, and pneumatic/hydraulic components.
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns to support operators and minimize downtime.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install parts or subassemblies when needed.
  • Document work accurately in our CMMS (MaintainX) and keep records current.
  • Champion safety—follow procedures, model best practices, and apply LOTO for all maintenance activities.
  • Partner with production and maintenance teammates to boost reliability and reduce repeat issues.

Skills you’ll bring

  • Sharp diagnostic instincts with solid root-cause thinking and the ability to recommend lasting fixes.
  • Hands-on proficiency servicing pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
  • Comfort working independently while juggling priorities in a fast-paced plant.
  • Fluency with hand/power tools and precision measuring gear.
  • CMMS literacy and habit for clear, complete documentation.
  • Commitment to safety culture and safe work habits.
  • Bonus: basic electrical troubleshooting ability.

Your background

  • 3 years as an industrial or manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic/Technician.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating machinery.
  • Ability to read manuals, schematics, and mechanical diagrams.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

Physical and work environment

  • Stand and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. solo; handle heavier loads with help.
  • Frequent use of hands/arms for tool operation and part handling.
  • Comfort with variable temperatures, dust, noise, and typical industrial conditions.
