What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Paraeducator position at Meriden School District?
Description of Position:
The substitute paraprofessional will fill in for both short term and long term assignments within the entire school district under the supervision of the regular or special education teachers to provide academic and physical assistance to students. The susbstitute paraprofessional will provide personal care, supervison and assistance and perform all other duties as assigned by the teacher and/or building principal.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess the skills to assist in all school activities. Applicants must be able to support student instruction, record data as needed, may assist with feeding, toileting and other personal hygiene. Applicants must be flexible and able to adjust to schedule changes as directed by the teacher and/or principal.
Salary: $18.10/hour
