Description: The Venture Academy is seeking a full-time School Social Worker for the 2026-2027 school year. The Venture Academy is a therapeutic alternative school program serving students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs in grades 6-12.
Qualifications: The Venture Academy is supported by two full-time social workers. Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required. Applicants must hold a valid Connecticut certification for School Social Worker (endorsement #071) and one of the following: MSW, LMSW, or LCSW. Support and mentorship will be provided daily and on-site.
