Position Summary
Merida Partners is seeking an experienced commercial real estate broker to join our Fort Worth office.
This position is intended for an established broker with a proven history of developing business, managing client relationships, and successfully negotiating commercial lease transactions. The ideal candidate already has an existing network and book of business and is looking for a platform that provides operational support while allowing them to continue growing their practice.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, franchise organizations, landlords, developers, and corporate real estate decision-makers.
- Generate new business opportunities through existing client relationships, referrals, networking, and business development.
- Represent tenants in lease negotiations, renewals, relocations, expansions, and new site acquisitions.
- Prepare and negotiate Letters of Intent, lease agreements, and other transaction documents.
- Manage transactions from initial client engagement through lease execution.
- Collaborate with Merida Partners' internal team members to deliver market analysis, site selection, financial comparisons, and transaction support.
- Learn Merida Partners' proprietary technology platform to coordinate projects, transactions, and client initiatives throughout the entire real estate process.
- Maintain accurate records of active assignments and business development activities.
- Represent the firm professionally while delivering a high level of client service.
Qualifications
- Active Texas Real Estate Sales Agent or Broker License.
- Minimum three years of commercial real estate brokerage experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success sourcing and closing commercial leasing transactions.
- Existing book of business and established professional relationships preferred.
- Experience representing tenants, landlords, or both in retail, office, industrial, or healthcare sectors.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple active transactions independently.
- Comfortable adopting technology and standardized operating procedures.
