We are currently looking for a Telecom Construction Manager in the Texas market. This position acts as the field representative for our company during construction of multi-dwelling unit properties. The role will lead field operations for their assigned projects including, but not limited to, installation of structured cabling (copper & fiber) and low voltage systems (access control, camera surveillance, guest entry, IoT/smart home, audio & video). The Telecom Construction Manager will manage the network device and data installations for multiple projects in the areas of Austin.
Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractors for multiple projects that would be responsible for cable pulling, device hangings, terminations, etc.
- Responsible for the overall management and execution of all the field jobs including initiation, maintenance, and completion.
- Ensure project deadlines are completed in a timely manner.
- Partner and collaborate successfully with key stakeholders including customers, subcontractors, vendors, coworkers, etc.
- Responsible for reporting on subcontractor status and site status to the Project Management Team.
- Responsible for the Data Network Installations.
- Responsible for the completion of “finish” work which includes configuration and programming of low voltage systems (access control, surveillance, smart homes).
- Ensure a safe and quality work environment.
- Team player. Ability to work well with all levels in the organization.
- Working knowledge of required technology.
- Awareness of basic networking and Wi-Fi technology is strongly preferred.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3 year’s knowledge and experience installation experience in the low voltage industry.
- Must have a current, clean driving record.
- Construction field experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Up to 50% travel to out of state job sites.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
