Schedule: Full-Time | 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Includes Weekends
Pay Range: $30–$32 per hour (based on experience) Weekend Shift Differential

We are seeking an experienced Lead Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to play a key leadership role within our clinical team. This position supports exceptional patient care while overseeing daily technician operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring clinical excellence.
Clinical Leadership & Patient Care
The Lead Veterinary Technician serves as a clinical resource, mentor, and liaison between technicians, veterinarians, and management.
Responsibilities include:

Perform all Veterinary Technician duties at a high level:
- Patient restraint and nursing care
- Venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Surgical assistance and dental procedures
- Radiology and diagnostics
- Medication preparation and administration
- Serve as a clinical resource for technicians and assistants during appointments, procedures, and surgeries
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Assist veterinarians with complex cases and procedures
- Support workflow and efficiency within the technician team
- Mentor and guide technicians and assistants to maintain high clinical standards
- Act as liaison between clinical staff and leadership
What We're Looking For
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) — required
- Prior leadership or senior technician experience strongly preferred
- Strong emergency/critical care experience preferred
- Advanced anesthesia and monitoring skills
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Passion for mentoring and supporting team growth
