What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weight Room Monitor position at MercyOne?
Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Weight Room Monitor.
As a Weight Room Monitor at MercyOne you will provide Wellness Center support through monitoring of weight room, new member orientations, customer service and facility maintenance and assisting at front desk. Adheres to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare’s performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.
What You'll Do:
- Supervises weight room.
- Provides orientation to new members.
- Provides membership support.
- Assists in maintenance of equipment.
- Markets Wellness Center facility and services.
- Adheres to all safety, infection control and employee health policies and procedures
Schedule:
- PRN (Per Diem), 0.0 FTE weekly hours will vary
- Weekend rotation required
General Requirements:
- Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff, and physicians while preforming their job duties.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Mandatory Reporter Certification
- 0 - 2 years' experience using weight and cardiovascular equipment
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
