Purpose

Performs essential base-level tasks and functions related to service fulfillment, disinfection & sanitation in patient facing, ancillary or back-office areas Provides service, support & colleague or customer support in accordance with level of experience, education, regulatory agency standards & established policies & procedures. Functional Role (not inclusive of titles or advancement career progression) Technician

Duties include requesting, receiving, distributing equipment & obsolescence management & stocking of general med-surg supplies in various healthcare settings. Works with end users as necessary to request supplies, troubleshoot supply issues, & resolve discrepancies as they occur. Maintains work & supply storage areas & equipment in a clean, up to date, organized & safe condition Performs periodic PAR level replenishment duties using various resupply procedures to maintain stock levels Serves as a frontline Supply Chain support representative for ordering, data entry & payment activities. Assists Supply Chain Leader with special assignments. 70% time provide inventory or data support

Technician, Advanced. 2 years Supply Chain

experience in a healthcare setting. Experienced with health ministries and System supply chain processes within specialty areas. Trains colleagues & readily assume responsibility for extra assignments. Serves as a frontline Supply Chain support representatives for complex orders, data entry, reporting & payment activities and initiatives. Includes knowledge of all duties described in Technician role. 70% time provides inventory or data support

Minimum Qualifications

Have received a High School Diploma or equivalent. Be able to complete additional education, training and competency tests as required.

Additional Qualifications (nice to have) Previous Supply Chain experience in a healthcare, warehousing, or other distribution environment.

  • Use upper & lower extremities, engage in bending / stooping / reaching & pushing / pulling. Frequent
  • Work indoors (subject to travel requirements) under temperature-controlled & well-lit conditions. Continuous
  • Encounter worksites (e.g., patient homes) or travel to worksites that may have variable internal & external environmental conditions. Continuous
  • Perform work that involves physical efforts (e.g., transporting, moving, positioning & / or ambulating patients). Occasional

Indirect Healthcare / Support Services

  • Perform activities that require standing / walking with the ability to vary / adjust physical position or activity. Frequent
  • Lift a maximum of 30 pounds unassisted. Occasional
  • Experience of long periods of walking / standing / stooping / bending / pulling & / or pushing. Frequent
  • Encounter a clinical / patient facing / hands on interactive work environment. Occasional
  • Work indoors (subject to travel requirements) under temperature-controlled & well-lit conditions. Continuous
  • Work outdoors with variable external environmental conditions. Occasional
