Join the MercyOne Genesis Team as a full-time Speech Therapist and be a part of our growing outpatient clinic in Bettendorf, Iowa. This position is eligible or fulltime benefits working 32 hours per week. Our focus is quality, comprehensive speech therapy to achieve optimal outcomes for all patients. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients of all ages and develop treatment plans with involvement of the patient, their family and support systems to meet the individual's functional goals. The position will work with other professionals (Physicians, PTAs, ATCs, PTs, OTs, and other SLPs) in an outpatient setting.
About The Area
Comprised of 6 counties in Iowa and Illinois, the Quad Cities is the largest metropolitan area on the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Louis. Bettendorf is three hours west of Chicago and two and a half hours east of Des Moines, Iowa. The area has recently been ranked as a “best place to live” and is known for safe neighborhoods, short commute times and a reasonable cost of living. The community is fortunate to have excellent schools (in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas), the Niabi Zoo, museums, fine arts, a local festival scene, minor league baseball, hockey, and many seasonal outdoor activities.
