As a Sonographer At MercyOne Genesis, You Will
- Perform Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and other related Ultrasound procedures as necessary on scheduled or emergent basis and maintains related records
- Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies
- Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff
- Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, Values, Actions, and Promise in behaviors, practices, and decisions
- PRN - Per Diem
Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)
- ARDMS preferred but ARRT, or Cardiovascular Credentialing Internation (CCI) also accepted
- Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME’s every 3 yrs/annual payment)
- Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter
