As a Physical Therapist At MercyOne, You Will
- Provide quality care to a variety of patients in a caring, professional and efficient manner
- Evaluate the patient's condition and develop, implement and coordinate a customized physical rehabilitation plan to enhance strength, flexibility, range of motion, motor control, skin integrity, balance, and functional mobility skills, with associated equipment as needed, as well as reduce pain and discomfort and prevent secondary impairments in neonatal, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations
- Complete necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Supervise clinical interns in and effective and professional manner
- Supervise supportive staff effectively as required by Iowa and Illinois professional practice acts
- 9:00am - 5:30pm
- 20 hours a week
- Occasional weekends
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Iowa state Physical Therapist license
- Basic Life Support within 6 months of employment
- No experience required
