MercyOne Wellness Center Physical Therapist: FT Day Shift (80 hrs/biweekly)
Position Purpose: provides physical therapy evaluations and treatments to appropriate patients to facilitate their return to prior level of functioning as prescribed by physician.

MercyOne Wellness Center Physical Therapist: FT Day Shift (80 hrs/biweekly)
Position Purpose: provides physical therapy evaluations and treatments to appropriate patients to facilitate their return to prior level of functioning as prescribed by physician.
What You Will Do
- Administers treatment techniques competently.
- Conducts patient assessment.
- Develops treatment plans for patients.
- Develops initial assessment in SOAP-note form utilizing appropriate documentation tool (700/701 forms).
- Provides education to patients and families.
- Supervises students and volunteers.
- Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
- Bachelor degree: Physical Therapy
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Iowa.
- BLS. Mandatory Reporter
- Ability to communicate effectively with treatment team, supervisors, peers, patients and families.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and the ability to be flexible.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
