Description
- High school diploma required.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification required within one year of employment.
- Must sit for first exam within first 6 months and receive certification status within 12 months.
- Must be registered with the State of Iowa Board of Pharmacy required within 30 days of hire.
- One to three years of previous pharmacy experience is desirable (or combination college and experience).
- Must be able to type accurately, have basic knowledge of medical terms and abbreviations.
- Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination are useful in preparing or assisting with preparation of orders.
- Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
- Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
- Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
