You’ll work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow team members to create seamless experiences and positive outcomes.
What You’ll Do During Your Shift:
- Circulate and scrub for a wide variety of surgical cases, with full training provided
- Participate in high-acuity specialties including cardiac, neuro, and robotic-assisted procedures
- Grow your skills in robotics, gaining hands-on experience with leading surgical technology
- Assess patient needs pre-, intra-, and post-operatively, responding quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and support optimal patient outcomes
- Document care and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and post-op care
- Support, guide, and delegate tasks to LPNs and Nursing Assistants as needed
- Participate in ongoing education, team meetings, and quality initiatives
- Covers call shifts Monday – Friday 7 pm to 7 am
- Salaried - paid 40 hours
- Associate degree required, BSN preferred.
- 2 years of OR RN experience required.
- Current Iowa RN license
- Hands-on robotics experience that sets you apart in the field
- Cross-training in scrubbing and circulating for a well-rounded OR skill set
- Exposure to cardiac, neuro, and other specialty service lines
