Join the MercyOne Genesis OB/GYN Hospitalist Team
MercyOne Genesis is seeking an experienced BC/BE OB/GYN to join its OB/GYN Hospitalist service in Silvis, IL.
We offer
Comprised of 6 counties in Iowa and Illinois, the Quad Cities is the largest metropolitan area on the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Louis. It is three hours west of Chicago and two and a half hours east of Des Moines, Iowa. The area has recently been ranked as a “best place to live” and is known for safe neighborhoods, short commute times and a reasonable cost of living. The community is fortunate to have excellent schools (in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas), the Niabi Zoo, museums, fine arts, a local festival scene, minor league baseball and hockey, and many seasonal outdoor activities. MercyOne Genesis is seeking an experienced BC/BE OB/GYN to join its OB/GYN Hospitalist service in Silvis, IL.
We offer
- Part- time employed opportunity - 3 24-hour in-house shifts per month – Flexible schedule
- Providing care for OB & GYN emergencies in ER and labor & delivery, care for unassigned patients and accept/manage transfers from smaller hospitals in the region
- Provide after hours call for OB/GYN practice
- Dedicated surgical suite with access to robot
- Approx 600 Births/ year
- Level II Nursery – 16 LDRP rooms
- $4709 per 24-hour on-site shift
- $60,000 commencement bonus
- Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
- Relocation allowance up to $15,000
- CME Allowance
- Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, 401k with match and 457(b) - Benefits start on day 1 of employment
- Malpractice Coverage
- MD or DO
- BE/BC in OB/GYN
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Illinois
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
