Essential Functions
- Observe patients via video monitoring to ensure safety by identifying and reporting behaviors that may compromise patient, staff, or visitor safety.
- Ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff at all times.
- Document activities and services accurately, completely, and in a timely manner in accordance with regulations.
- Report unsafe conditions and remove unsafe equipment or furniture when identified.
- Ask for assistance as needed to ensure the safety of all involved.
- Maintain a safe working environment and practice safe work habits.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and colleague health policies and procedures.
- Complete all required safety training and programs.
- Consistently and appropriately use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Know and demonstrate departmental emergency procedures, including fire, disaster, and other emergency situations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) - Preferred
- 0–2 years
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff, and providers while performing job duties
