The VP, Strategic Planning & Commercialization drives value realization through internal strategy understanding / alignment, external collaborations, & product commercialization. This position serves as the bridge between Mercy’s strategic plan, priorities, and investments and key strategic partnership activities – including healthcare innovators, major technology companies, & research organizations – to identify, create & quantify value delivery, in addition to collaboratively co-developing and commercializing new solutions and exploring investment opportunities. As part of the Office of Transformation leadership team, the VP shapes & cascades broad understanding of Mercy strategies and specific focus on partnership strategies that advance Mercy’s mission, improves patient care, & creates new revenue opportunities. The role can be remote, with regular travel (approximately 40%) required for partner meetings, on-site collaboration, & events. In this capacity, the VP works across departments (clinical, IT, legal, finance, operations, etc.) to ensure strategies and partnership initiatives are well-integrated internally & their value is effectively communicated throughout Mercy.Position Details:
