Overview:
The Volunteer Services Coordinator promotes and coordinates Mercy's volunteer program. Recruits new volunteers. Assists in education and training updates for volunteers. Coordinates monthly Volunteer Board meetings. Works with hospital department leaders in identifying volunteer opportunities
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience required
- Required Education: Post-secondary bachelor’s degree or equivalent/relevant business experience
- Other: Excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills. Appreciation for and ability to communicate with both the senior and teen populations. Basic computer skills, and ability to learn. Interpersonal and customer relations skills. Willingness to participate in community activities. Well organized. Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
