Overview:
As a Unit Secretary in a hospital setting, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating communication and administrative operations within the unit. This position requires strong organizational skills, diligence, and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality. Your role is integral to maintaining effective communication and coordination within the healthcare team, enhancing patient care delivery and outcomes.
Who we are: Mercy Hospital St. Louis is a Level 1 Trauma Center which means we have the expertise and resources to care for the most complex and critical medical conditions. We have an Adult ER with dedicated triage and waiting areas, and more than 20 treatment rooms. Our facility also includes the Mercy Kids ER that is a full-service pediatric ER with separate triage, waiting and treatment areas designed for kids and families.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience using computers and entering data. Must have prior customer service or working with the public experience. Strongly prefer healthcare experience or education.
- Required Education: High School Diploma/GED
- Preferred Education: In school for healthcare or related
