As a Unit Secretary in a hospital setting, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating communication and administrative operations within the unit. Your role is integral to maintaining effective communication and coordination within the healthcare team, enhancing patient care delivery and outcomes.Position Details:

Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO
Department: Medical Telemetry
Status: Full-Time (36hrs/week)
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Qualifications:
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent, G.E.D
Preferred Education: Additional education or certification in medical office administration.
Experience: Prior experience using computers and computer systems to enter data, or process information. Experience in working with the public; customer service.
Preferred Experience: Prior clerical experience working in a healthcare setting.
Other: Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and HIPAA regulations preferred.
