Overview:
- Under the direction of the Surgery Center, performs a wide variety of environmental and operational support tasks.
- Activities include turning over OR rooms in an efficient and timely manner, case cart transport and delivery of supplies and materials throughout patient care areas.
- Works cooperatively with others as part of a team and recognizes the importance of group goals.
- Collaborates with medical staff, other appropriate disciplines, and ancillary departments to provide appropriate, timely and efficient patient care.
- Demonstrates fairness, integrity, and compassion in all interactions with patients, visitors and staff and respects the confidential information to which he/she may have access.
- Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Education: Related experience preferred.
