Position Details:
Location: Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City
Shift: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Overview:
Under direct supervision completes tasks, according to skill level, to assist surgery personnel in providing nursing care and surgical services to patients in the operating room area.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Education: Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course.
Certifications: BLS certified. Required certification must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
Preferred Experience: Previous Nurse aide and/or phlebotomy experience in acute care setting.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
