Overview:
The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department within the hospital. This position entails supervising and coordinating the activities of environmental services staff to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Salary Range: $18-21 but goes up based on experience
- Experience: 2 years environmental services experience.
- Required Education: High school Diploma or equivalent. In lieu of education, at least 2 years of lead or leadership experience may be considered
- Preferred Education: Associates Degree or equivalent.
- Other: Ability to read and understand basic instructions. Is organized, self-motivated and has the ability to communicate directions in a clear concise manner. Must be computer proficient with generating schedules, time keeping, floor care experience, and must be service oriented and able to anticipate the needs of others and respond appropriately. Minimum of one year previous work experience in a leadership role is preferred. Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
