Role Highlights
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
Patient Care Associate (PCA)
- What you’ll do: Under RN/LPN direction, assist with vitals, meals, bathing, toileting, safe ambulation/mobility, and patient transport; perform designated clinical and non‑clinical tasks after competency.
Nurse Tech (NT)
- What you’ll do: Support bedside care with vitals, ADLs, mobility/transport, and unit‑approved skills such as phlebotomy/blood cultures, enteral feeding, wound care, IV/Foley removal, trach suctioning, ostomy care, wound vacs, and NG management/removal (after competency).
Patient Transporter
What you’ll do: Safely transport patients and equipment between departments using proper body mechanics; maintain equipment PAR levels; track moves in Epic to ensure accurate routing and throughput.
Medical Assistant (MA) – Clinic/Outpatient
- What you’ll do: Support providers with direct/indirect patient care—room patients, obtain vitals/histories, assist with exams/procedures, document in the EHR, and help coordinate front‑to‑back clinic flow per protocol and scope.
