Overview:
The surgery coordinator monitors and makes decisions regarding the surgery schedule of cases in the future as well as scheduling employees. Coordinating the schedule is done in collaboration with assistant nurse managers, OR manager, director, and anesthesia, keeping in mind the philosophy and goals of the department. The surgery coordinator monitors performance of staff members and evaluates or has input in evaluation of job performance of staff members. Performs all work in accordance to the mission, vision and values of Mercy Health Center. This position is responsible for the management of the flow of cases on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Licensure: State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License
- Experience: Min of 3 years OR experience
- Certifications: Preferred specialty certification
