Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Status: Part-Time (24 hrs/week)
Shift: Day Shift | 8-hour shifts | 3 days/week | Call Requirement

About the Role

Our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) serve multiple surgical specialties in both hospital-based and outpatient settings.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program

• Licensure: Current RN license (state or compact)

• Experience: PACU or ICU experience within the last 2 years (required)

• Certifications:

  • BLS within 30 days of hire

  • Additional unit-specific certifications as needed

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, prolonged standing/walking, and perform essential movements (grip, bend, kneel, squat).
