PRN Requirements:
Note: if you already hold a part-time or full-time role with Mercy the requirement may not be the same, lets discuss
- Must work 36 hours in a 6-week period
- 1/3 shifts have to be a weekend shift
- Holiday Requirement: 1 winter and 1 summer holiday
Units you may float to based on experience:
ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, all Med-Surg units, Acute Rehab and Behavioral Health.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited RN program
- Preferred Education: BSN
- License: Current RN license in the state of MO
- Experience: a minimum 3 years medical surgical or critical care experience in hospital setting and have competencies equivalent to those required of core staff nurses
- Six months of this experience should be within the last year.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
