Position: REMOTE - Director, Compliance
Location: Mercy Share Services
Shifts: FT Days 40/hrs per week - 8:00am - 4:30pm

Overview:
The Director – Compliance provides leadership, direction and oversight over the development, implementation, and effective functioning of the Mercy Compliance Program within one or more Mercy communities or strategic service lines. Facilitates policies and processes to support adherence to the Mercy Code of Conduct and Compliance Program Plan by Mercy co-workers and physicians serving in all assigned hospitals, clinics, Mercy-wide service lines, and post-acute facility locations. The Director reports to a Regional Director of Compliance and performs duties in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission and values.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree. You may be asked to provide proof of education.
Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in health care regulatory compliance required.
Certifications: Certified in Healthcare Compliance through the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) or become certified within 24 months of hire.
Other:
Must understand English both written and spoken, must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
Some travel is required within the East communities.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree.
Preferred Experience: Previous healthcare compliance program experience
