Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas. Serves as clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the Join our team as a Clinical Coordinator (RN) and help lead daily patient care operations while supporting nursing staff and unit performance.Position Details:
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient placement and staff assignments.
- Support nursing staff with patient care, workflow, and unit activities.
- Assist with staff orientation, education, and ongoing training.
- Oversee clinical operations and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, productivity, and resource management.
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, staffing, and operational needs.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe patient care environment.
- Perform direct patient care as needed.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the applicable state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 1 year of charge nurse experience.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications.
- BSN preferred.
