Overview:
Provides direct and indirect patient care services to outpatient pre- and post-surgery patients and pre-admission testing. Meets psychological, physical and general aspects of care; utilizes the nursing process in planning care. Provides communication and education needs of patient and family. Provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations.
Communicates with physicians and other team members about changes in patients' condition and can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- Preferred Education: BSN
- License: current RN license in our state
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
