Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:

Registered Nurse
Weekend Option
Full Time Days - 36 hours/week
Tier 3 (Med surg) will receive a $5.00 differential over base pay
Tier 2 (Stepdown) will receive a $7.50 differential over base pay
Tier 1 (ICU) will receive a $10.00 differential over base pay
Weekend Option also receives a $20/hr differential over base pay.

Float Pool gives the opportunity to develop clinical assessment skills as well as sharpen skills in communication and teamwork. Health care workers who are compassionate, hard-working, and flexible will find working on this unit very rewarding!

Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Medical Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, Medical Stepdown, Surgical Stepdown, Cardiac Telemetry, Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care, Oncology, Neurology, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, ICU, and more!
Float Pool Qualifications:
Experience: 1-2 years' bedside RN experience.
Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
Preferred Education: BSN
License: current RN license in our state
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
