Heart and Vascular Recover Unit (HVR) is an upbeat, fast-paced unit dedicated to post-procedure cardiovascular patients from the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab. HVR also focuses on other cardiac related diagnoses as Congestive Heart Failure, A-Fib, and arrhythmia patients. HVR works closely with Cardiovascular physicians and their clinics to ensure their patients can successfully return home at discharge.
- This unit requires excellent critical thinking skills and quick decision-making skills.
- Due to the diverse nature this unit there are numerous educational opportunities for our coworkers.
- 8 – patient bed unit
- RN ratio 4-5 patients, with tech support
- 24/7 Leadership support
- Collaborate daily with multiple ancillary departments.
- Call required with a 30 minute response time.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
