Position Details:
Location: Mercy Hospital South
Minimum Required Qualifications
i. High School Diploma
ii. 18 years of age or older
Licensure:
i. Valid State drivers license
ii. Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required
Experience:
Meets or surpasses all requirements of Public Safety Officer II
Annual satisfactory completion of Functional Job Screening
Other Skills And Knowledge:
i. Has completed at least 12 months of active employment with Mercy Public Safety/Security Department (Or equivalent training, education and/or job experience)
ii. Completed Law Enforcement, Public Safety or Security report writing class (independent of licensure class)
iii. Completed Law Enforcement, Public Safety or Security criminal law class (independent of licensure class)
iv. Completed Law Enforcement, Public Safety or Security criminal investigation class (independent of licensure class)
v. No written warnings for policy or procedure violations in the previous (6) six months prior to advancement
Education:
Preferred Qualifications
i. College degree
Licensure:
i. Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required.
Experience:
i. Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience
Other Skills And Knowledge:
i. Annual satisfactory completion of Functional Job Screening
