Location: Mercy Hospital South

Schedule:
🕗 Full-Time | 6:00am - 6:00pm (40 hours/week)

Overview:
- Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercys coworkers, patients, and visitors.
- Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma
- 18 years of age or older
- Licensure:Valid State drivers license
- Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)
- Certification/Registration:Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure)
- Officers in areas where there isn’t a licensing body, Completed IAHSS Basic.
- Other Skills and Knowledge:Ability to read and write the English language
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: College degree
- Licensure: Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required.
- Experience: Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience
