Primary Care Medical Assistant – (Part Time- Days)
Schedule: 24 hours/week, Day Shift

What You’ll Do
As a Medical Assistant in Primary Care, you’ll be a vital part of the patient experience and care team. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients for provider visits using the Advanced Standard Rooming Process:
- Documenting chief complaints
- Taking vitals, reviewing history and allergies
- Completing medication reconciliation
- Addressing care gaps (e.g., screenings, diabetic eye exams)
- Rechecking elevated blood pressures
- Documenting preventive visit details in Epic
- Performing in-office testing:
- Blood draws, mental status exams, EKGs, oxygen studies, point-of-care testing
- Administering vaccines and injections within scope
- Scheduling follow-up appointments per office policy
- Collaborating with providers and clinical teams to support care plans
Qualifications
Primary Care Assistant – MA
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certification: BLS required within 90 days of hire
- Preferred Experience: 6 months in clinical healthcare, ideally in primary care
Primary Care – Certified MA
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certification: Active MA certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA)
- BLS: Required within 90 days of hire
LPN Option
- Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing
- Licensure: Active LPN license
- Preferred Experience: 6 months in clinical healthcare, preferably primary care
