Physician - Gastroenterologist Hospitalist - Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City

Mercy Gastroenterology is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible gastroenterologist physician to join our GI Hospitalist team at Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City.  

Mercy Gastroenterology Oklahoma City:

• Work 26 weeks a year with an attractive block schedule of 7-on/7-off (promotes work/life balance in this busy specialty)
• Inpatient and ER coverage only. Average of 5-6 inpatient consults per day with associated procedures
• Capacity for elective cases - not required
• Mercy's NEW Center of Excellence for Digestive Diseases
• Hospitalist team (Employed, Internal Medicine) will admit patients and GI Hospitalist will consult (serve as primary for new consults and calls.)
• In-house during the day and on-call at night
• Support from a large, comprehensive team of physicians including surgical oncology, medical oncology, both general and interventional GI, IBD specialist, colon and rectal surgeon, general surgeons and more
• Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is a top-rated hospital by Fortune/IBM Watson and continually receives patient safety excellence awards and consumer loyalty awards

• Competitive shift-based model ($726,000 ) 26 weeks a year or 182 shifts a year!
