What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Technologist-Weekend Option-Outpatient Imaging position at Mercy?
*Choice of Work Location: Clarkson, Hazelwood or O'Fallon*
Overview:
Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program.
- Experience: Three plus years of MRI experience.
- Certification/Registration: A.R.R.T. Registered with advanced MR registry ARRT (R)(MR) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Other skills & knowledge: Basic nursing skills.
