Overview:
Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Two registries working in area or Super User for select programs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program.
- Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred Education:Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
- Certifications: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI)- working in the area.
- Other: IV Insertion· Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
