What we are:
Mercy's Earn As You Learn (EAYL) program provides LPN and RN senior level nursing students from participating schools the opportunity to receive a $2,000 (taxed) stipend for the completion of their senior practicum (last semester) at a Mercy Hospital St. Louis!
Students will receive structured support throughout their senior practicum with various members of Mercy leadership, including supervisors, clinicians, and nurse managers.
This is an opportunity to build professional connections and secure a position post-graduation!
To participate, students must commit to a bedside nursing position post graduation. This post-graduation professional commitment is 6 months. Ideally, senior practicum assignments should be obtained on the same unit as desired position.

Qualifications:
- Education: Enrolled in a board-certified nursing program preparing for senior practicum.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
