Medical Assistant – Mercy Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine Clinic

Position Details:

Medical Assistant - Full Time, 40 Hours per Week

Mercy South Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine Clinic

Qualifications

Education:
•    High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification(s):
•    MA Certification preferred but not required

Preferred Experience:
•    1 year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by clinic

Job Duties:

·       Room patients, vital signs Assists with procedures, EKG

·       Instrument maintenance and prep

·       Stock exam rooms

·       Documentation, scanning

·       Point of care testing

·       Basic in basket and refills

·       Communicate with physician or APP

·       Follow protected information policy, follow OSHA standards

·       Adopt PPE and Quality/Safety Policies

·       Medication reconciliation, injection administration

·       Schedule appointments, medical record releases

·       Diagnostic and ancillary order entry
