Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

Graduate Nurse Sign On Bonus $2,000

Experienced LPN up to Sign On Bonus $10,000

6C Neuro Stroke Center, is a unit that specializes in stroke care, neurological care, neurosurgery, and care of the acutely ill medical patient. Our top 5 common diagnoses are: strokes, seizures, lumbar laminectomies, spinal cord injuries, and brain tumors. 6C also has two continuous seizure monitoring rooms to help tailor treatment specific to each individual need. Our work spans across the multidisciplinary team, and we work hand and hand to provide excellent care to our stroke patients. dd

 

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved Practical Nursing Program.

• Licensure: Current LPN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current LPN Missouri temporary work permit.

• Experience: None

• Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare provider card or complete a course within their probationary period.

•  Certification: IV Therapy Administration course approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
