Overview:
The Lead Co-worker Health Nurse is responsible for coordinating Co-worker Health processes and procedures, working closely with Co-worker Health leaders and staff, Workers Compensation, Infectious Disease, and other departments we serve at Mercy. They perform related duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercys mission, values, and service standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of state approved nursing school
- Preferred Education: Bachelors degree
- Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate state
- Experience: Two years as a RN
- Preferred Experience: Emergency Room, Infectious Disease, Employee Health or Workers Compensation
- Certification/Registration: Three years clinical experience and current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
- Other Skills and Knowledge: Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Other Skills and Knowledge: Experience with Epic and Microsoft products, such as Word and Excel
