OverviewPrimary Function Formulates and defines business scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business and industry requirements Performs functional analysis, requirements, definition and application module configuration and testing. Responsible for conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/control tables Has a thorough understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business functions Responsible for the identification of and resolution of gaps in the business processes. Involved in security/authorization set-up, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and reconciliation May be involved in the installation and tuning of modification, as well as archiving data. Generally this position has light programming skills in the appropriate language to develop necessary work arounds

Position Summary
The Lead Business Solutions Analyst plays a key role in defining, designing, and optimizing business processes and system functionality across the organization. This role formulates and defines business scope and objectives through research, analysis, and a strong understanding of industry and organizational needs. The analyst performs functional analysis, requirements gathering, application configuration, testing, and solution design to support complex business functions.
The Lead Analyst is responsible for conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, mapping data and functions, and configuring application modules. This position requires deep knowledge of end‑to‑end business processes to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and deliver effective system solutions. Responsibilities may also include security setup, user documentation, interface and data migration support, and occasional light programming to develop necessary workarounds.

Education & Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.

- Expertise in requirements management, workflow diagramming, and use case development.
- Strong knowledge of process design, reengineering, and documentation methodologies.
- Experience producing high‑quality deliverables and supporting full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong vendor management, communication, and project management skills.
Experience
- Eight (8) years of relevant technical or business experience.
