Performs personal care and other assigned duties to patients in their home under the guidance and supervision of the skilled nursing staff or therapy staff. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:
Preferred Education: High school diploma or GED.
Licensure: Valid driver's license.
Experience:
Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant and/or completion of the Mercy-approved Patient Care Tech Program. CPR certification required but can be obtained after hire.
Preferred Experience: Experience in a homecare or nursing facility.
Preferred Other: Has basic computer skills as well as a working knowledge of Windows, Word and Outlook.
Physical Requirements:
• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
