Under the direction of the clinical manager, performs tasks and activities related to patient care to an assigned group of patients. Provide care for patients in accordance with age-specific needs; provide care in accordance with any identifiable cultural diversity needs (such as religions, lifestyles, beliefs, physical capabilities, and cultures); provide care for patients by assuring effective pain interventions as allowed by their work certification; report and assist any patient that presents with evidence of abuse and/or neglect; and supports the mission of Mercy. Coworkers are expected to abide by Mercy Hospital safety and infection control policies to maintain a safe environment for patients and co-workers.Position Details:

Qualifications:
Education
High school diploma or GED, preferred
Licensure: Valid driver's license
Certifications
Certified Nursing Assistant and/or completion of the Mercy-approved Patient Care Tech Program. CPR certification required but can be obtained after hire
Experience
Experience in a homecare or nursing facility, preferred
