What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Speech Therapist - Carthage $10,000 Sign-On position at Mercy?
- Perform initial assessment on each patient upon receiving referral. Document all information according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Administer appropriate modalities, exercise regimens, or treatment procedures according to departmental policies and procedures on standards of treatment care.
- Participate in promoting education within the department.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Inpatient Physical Medicine Supervisor.
- Demonstrates knowledge of special needs and behaviors of specific age groups to include neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.Position Details:
Education: Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
Licensure: Current licensure or eligible for licensure in applicable State of practice.
Experience: one year of experience.
Certifications: Certification from American Speech and Hearing Association. BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
Preferred Experience: Experience in caring for patients of all ages preferred.
