What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flow Coordinator RN - Operating Room Full Time position at Mercy?
Overview:
The Perioperative Flow Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services to facilitate patient flow within the department. He/she is responsible for actively monitoring patient arrival and coordinating patient flow through the various stages of surgical care ensuring the Mercy experience for all served.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of a state-approved School of Nursing.
- Licensure: Possess a current RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in the applicable state of practice or current RN work permit in the applicable state of practice.
- Experience: 2 years Perioperative experience required.
- Certifications: CNOR preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to demonstrate clinical expertise in area of Perioperative surgical care. Demonstrate skill in interpersonal relations and communications.
