Overview:
Responsible for the provision of nursing care in respective division. Directs the quality and resource management for areas of responsibility. Accountable to insure implementation of current standards of practice and care. Works collaboratively with the physicians and other departments to achieve quality patient outcomes. Responsible for compliance with licensing and regulatory standards. Promotes professional nursing practice by insuring competency validation and providing ongoing clinical continuing education opportunities. Participates in the development and implementation of strategic and business plans for areas of responsibility. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Master's degree required.
- Preferred Education: MSN preferred, MHA, MBA
- Licensure: Licensed as RN by Missouri State Board of Nursing.
- Experience: No less than five years of previous experience in significiant managment role in nursing.
